Yael & the bags is a small textile business that designs and makes unique bags and accessories. In my shop I also sell beautiful haberdashery, some new and some vintage, like buttons, stitch markers, sock blockers and more.

In my designs I use preloved linen fabrics, old embroideries, handwoven and traditional Swedish fabrics, with addition of newly produced fabrics as a complement.

By "rescuing" old embroideries and give them new life in my bags, I hope more people will see and understand their value.

I also accept leftover pieces of linen fabrics from other small scale makers, who instead of throwing away their excess fabrics, send them to me.
